A Pork Barbecue Feast
About Me
A Pork Barbecue Feast

Growing up, my grandparents enjoyed preparing pork barbecue a few times every year at their home. Whenever they barbecued, they would invite several friends and other family members over. To serve with the pork meat, my grandmother always prepared several mouthwatering side dishes such as potato salad and baked beans. Because they slow cooked the meat for hours, they were always extremely tired when the fun festivities were complete. Nowadays, my family skips the hassle of cooking pork barbecue themselves. Instead, they enjoy this delicious entree at a favorite local restaurant. On this blog, you will discover the best side dishes to order with a pork barbecue meal at a restaurant. Enjoy!

Creating A Pizza Shop People Flock To

Roland Adams

There has always been a lot of competition in the pizza business. And it makes sense why this is. Pizza is relatively inexpensive to make, it can be sold at a decent margin, and it doesn't require a lot of equipment. Does this competition mean it's a bad idea to open your own pizza shop? Not necessarily. You just have to be aware of the competition and set yourself apart. Here are some tips for creating a pizza shop people actually flock to.

Get a liquor license.

A lot of pizza shops are small, hole-in-the-wall places that mostly serve takeout and have a couple of tables inside. They don't really cater to people who want to stay a bit longer and drink a beer or two while they eat. So, if you can get a liquor license and serve drinks at your pizza shop, you'll have your own niche in the market. You don't even have to have a full bar or serve a long list of drinks. A couple of taps with local beer are enough to draw a crowd. Beer and pizza go so well together.

Serve a rotating selection of specialty pizzas.

In addition to allowing guests to customize their pizzas, you'll want to have some specialty pizzas that come with specific toppings. And if you want people to flock to your restaurant, that selection of pizzas should rotate. You may have one or two classics that you keep on the menu at all times but also introduce a new and creative pizza once a week or once a month. This keeps guests coming back. They'll have one specialty pizza they like and they'll want to come back and see what the next one is.

Use great ingredients.

You can buy cheap tomatoes or you can buy top-of-the-line tomatoes. You can buy the inexpensive mozzarella or you can buy the fancier cheese blend. Stepping up your ingredients may seem like you're tossing some potential profit down the drain. But in reality, you're creating a better product that will set you apart from your competitors. Good ingredients make for good pizza. You may have to charge a little more, but you'll be making pizzas that get everyone talking.

While the competition is tough in the world of pizza, there are surely ways to stand out. Give the ideas above a try, and you'll soon see customers flocking to your doors.
