A Pork Barbecue Feast
About Me
A Pork Barbecue Feast

Growing up, my grandparents enjoyed preparing pork barbecue a few times every year at their home. Whenever they barbecued, they would invite several friends and other family members over. To serve with the pork meat, my grandmother always prepared several mouthwatering side dishes such as potato salad and baked beans. Because they slow cooked the meat for hours, they were always extremely tired when the fun festivities were complete. Nowadays, my family skips the hassle of cooking pork barbecue themselves. Instead, they enjoy this delicious entree at a favorite local restaurant. On this blog, you will discover the best side dishes to order with a pork barbecue meal at a restaurant. Enjoy!

Amenities Your Banquet Room Should Offer Corporate Guests

Roland Adams

Offering a banquet room is an option many restaurants look into at one time or another. These rooms are generally for birthday parties, anniversaries, or similar festive occasions. One occasion you may not consider is having a banquet room for corporate guests. These guests can range from women's sales groups to Fortune 500 corporate administrators. With this in mind, you may find you need more amenities in your banquet room. Here are some of those amenities and what to consider about each one.

Traditional Bar

Banquet rooms can look very barren to someone looking for the right venue. You want to have something that stands out and shows sophistication. The touch of sophistication lets your clients know that though you do handle birthdays and other celebrations, you are also equipped for corporate guests. One way to do this is by having a traditional bar installed. This bar—combined with leather-backed club chairs and mahogany end tables—gives the sense of a relaxing cigar bar in the midst of a larger banquet engagement.

LED Lighting

There are several reasons your banquet room should have LED lighting as opposed to other traditional lighting methods. The first reason deals with energy efficiency. LED lights are more energy efficient than traditional lighting. They also do not get hot after long-term use. LED lighting also offers the ability to change the lighting color and the brightness. This lighting gives you the freedom to give a unique color or style of lighting for the corporate events needs. For example, instead of going totally black with a spotlight on the stage, you can opt for dimming the lights and giving a softer look during speakers or award ceremonies.

Stage

Having a small stage can make a large difference for corporate engagements. The stage allows speakers and award recipients to be elevated above the rest of the guests. This elevation allows for a better point of focus and a more polished look to the corporate ceremony. The stage can be removable. It can also be built as a hidden stage that is only pulled out when necessary. The hidden design allows you to accommodate both your traditional banquet room seekers and your corporate seekers.

There are many other amenities you may want to consider for your banquet room and corporate guests. Depending on your zoning and local rulings, you can advance further to offer more for specific corporations and functions. When you are ready to begin construction on the banquet room, contact your area restaurant contractors. They can help you with design plans and with implementing those plans.
